Summer Quest 2025
In July 2025, the fourth "The GAME" quest took place in ProTanki. This quest was the toughest in the game’s history: the average time to solve one day was about 7 hours. The quest lasted five days, from July 16 to 20, with hundreds of players participating.
As the first clue, players were given a video referencing a familiar game term — a turret, paint, map, etc. Below is the complete solution for each day.
Day 1
The opening of the video shows amateur footage of a trip to the Grand Canyon, ending with a Frost effect:
This gives us two references: the Canyon map and the Frost paint.
Canyon
Head to the Canyon map in-game. On the map, we find three resist icons: Firebird, Hammer, Vulcan:
These resists are unique only to the Rhino paint. You can verify this using the filter on the Paints page. Go to the Rhino paint card on the Paints page and notice the last letter of the name is highlighted.
Clicking this letter takes you to an image, which shows a frame from the series "Chernobyl." Go to the Chernobyl map in-game.
On the map, we find two "Easter Eggs": the gift icon "Gold with Caviar", and a table mapping certain symbols. These can be found by driving through walls without collision.
The table will be needed later. For now, focus on the gift. After finding this gift on the Gifts page, clicking its name, we get a link to a questionnaire:

Frost
Go to the Frost paint page. Notice the color of the "..." in "Did you know..." — the ellipsis is now clickable, leading to an image with characters from "How to Train Your Dragon," all of whom are Vikings. This is reference to the Viking hull.
Go to the Viking description in the garage and you find a clickable space. Clicking it takes you to a page showing the Cologne Cathedral.

The maze has a single path, collecting symbols along it to get a sequence:

Day 2
The starting video is the loading screen from "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" (2005). The closest thing to racing in the game is the Deathtrack map.
The Deathtrack map, is the starting point offering four clues. In-game, find two icons: "Don't Make Waves" and "No Smoking." The map preview includes a message encoded in the cipher from "The Dancing Men" by Arthur Conan Doyle. A similar message appears on the winter preview of the Deathtrack page on the Wiki.

Smoky
The "No Smoking" sign points to the Smoky turret. In its garage description, there is a clickable area leading to an image — a frame from "The Martian."

Wave
The "Don't Make Waves" sign on the Deathtrack map points to the Wave map. Head to this map in-game and find two clues: an emoji key and a secret room with a portrait of Colonel Sanders.
Colonel Sanders is a clear reference to the Colonel rank in-game. We’ll need it later, so make note it for now. The emoji key is a simple substitution cipher, where each letter is represented by a specific emoji. You can decode it using the Mars description in English in the garage (set the game client to English to view it). Decoding the key reveals the word: anywhere.
Fort Knox
The remaining unused clues are the messages on the Deathtrack map preview. On the Wiki, the message decodes to /dancingday, and in-game, it’s USA gold reserves.

USA gold reserves references the Fort Knox map, as Fort Knox is famously known for housing a large portion of the United States' gold reserves.
Go to the Fort Knox map in-game, even in DM mode, and you'll notice four flags: three red and one blue, mimicking the layout of Assault mode. Check the map's description and find a QR code.
Scan the QR code to get a link to an image: https://i.imgur.com/9HMHwj9.jpeg. The image displays an encrypted link and up/down arrows. The link is encrypted with a Vigenère cipher with the key "anywhere," which was found on the Wave map. While there was no direct hint about the cipher type, Vigenère has been used in the "GAME" quest before. Decrypting the message with the key "anywhere" yields: https://imgur.com/tnugtub.
However, this link isn’t valid. Recalling the arrows, apply them to the last seven characters of the link to adjust their case. This results in a working link: https://imgur.com/tNUGTub.
The image shows four in-game events and two costs:
- Destroying a Hunter on the Duel map
- Destroying a Wasp on the Duel map
- Destroying a Hunter on the Dusseldorf map
- Destroying a Wasp on the Dusseldorf map
- Changing a Missions for crystals
- Buying a PRO battle pass
In the image’s corner, there’s a π (Pi) symbol (indicating multiplication) and a crystal icon. You need to calculate how many crystals each action represents. These values depend on the player's rank — recall Colonel Sanders from the Wave map, referencing the Colonel rank. Using respective pages Battle Fund, Missions, and PRO battle pass, determine the following values (rounded to whole numbers):

Day 3
The opening video shows gameplay from "Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2," ending with the sound of a mosquito buzzing.
This provides two clues: the Red Alert map and the Mosquito kit.
Red Alert
Head to the Red Alert map in-game. On the summer version, you can faintly spot the numbers 82 and 207 — the atomic number and mass of lead. These numbers are hard to see in a static image, but become more visible when moving around.
On the winter version of the Red Alert map, there's a QR code located far outside the playable area. Scanning it takes you to: https://tinyurl.com/yckdd29f. This leads to an archive containing an old Flash-based tutorial from Tanki Online (TO). The archive is password-protected, so you'll need hold off for now.
Recall the Lead paint — clicking its preview takes you to a video: https://youtu.be/S8uTxdTxL6Q. It shows a clip from "Interstellar," where Professor Brand recites Dylan Thomas’ poem “Do not go gentle into that good night...,” with an encoded message in the description: 1-14 16-12 8-16 7-22 17-24 11-36 2-22 5-21 10-3.
The message uses a book cipher, with `the poem as the key. The first number is the line, the second is the letter (e.g., 1-14 is the 14th letter of line 1). Decoding gives: ihmrfyvkl. Apply a Caesar cipher (commonly used in such quests) to get "edinburgh." Head to the Edinburgh map.
On the Edinburgh map, find a huge smiley-like platform in the sky with the note "2 -> 8," indicating a binary-to-octal conversion. Convert the smiley into binary (empty cell = 1, others = 0), remove line breaks, and get:

Tutorial
This octal number is the password for the archive from the winter Red Alert. Unpack and run the tutorial.
Follow the tutorial normally, but don’t kill the first bot right away — it will hint at something by driving into a hangar corner.
Near the final checkpoint, the hangar door opens. Press Delete to return. In the hangar, find a repair kit.
Go to the Supplies page, download the repair kit image named zip-winrar_me.png. Change its extension to .zip and extract map_single.xml using WinRAR.
This is a ProTanki map file in XML format. Open it in ProTLVK to reveal the Opposition map with the word single underneath.
On the Opposition map in-game, find a giant "ladder" of platforms. At the top, spot dots and dashes — Morse code.
The ladder is a Morse code message: one platform = dot, two = dash, climb = switch or new dot, drop = space. It decodes to: . -.-- .- ..-. --- .-.. .-.. .- --- -.- ..- .-.. .-.., or ejafjallaokull.
The Eyjafjallajökull kit description has no clues, so hold onto this.

Mosquito
On the Mosquito kit Wiki page, the discount size is colored differently, with a hover text: https://xwhiteraven.github.io.
At https://xwhiteraven.github.io, find images and text hinting at "salt" and a color algorithm. Recall the discount color change.
Check the CSS or screenshot to get the color: rgb(58, 122, 224). Convert to HEX (#3a7ae0) and then to decimal: 3832544.
The site’s URL suggests a GitHub Pages site. Visit xwhiteraven’s profile on GitHub and find a repository with x.py:

This is a hashing function using a password and salt, useful later. The tutorial resources include a magnifier icon — a search hint.

The 2010 video shows a kid playing Tanki Online. A recent comment from whiteraven contains a cat emoji. Check whiteraven’s channel; the first video has a comment: key: hopper. The video reveals the kid’s cat is named Cookie.
Cookies are small data stored by websites. In Chrome’s developer tools ("Application" tab), find a cookie named "dont_look_here" with: ohiew%3A%2F%2Fxhat.evf-aoczm.tva%2Fpqwfsiit_gzusbp, decoding to ohiew://xhat.evf-aoczm.tva/pqwfsiit_gzusbp.

This page shows an AC/DC performance of “Highway to Hell,” ending with .../gimmethename. At https://game.pro-tanki.com/gimmethename, there’s a password form.
Highway points to the Highways map. Find a sequence of numbers:

This is an ASCII sequence, decoding to lqaefvd.kbs/3x7amv2h. Using single as a Vigenère key, decrypt it to: https://tinyurl.com/3m7wun2u.
This leads to an image with odd symbols and "notae elegantissimae":
Searching "notae elegantissimae" reveals Cistercian numerals. Decode the symbols to: 42, 132, 429, 1430, 4862.
These are consecutive Catalan numbers. Enter "Catalan" into the password form at https://game.pro-tanki.com/gimmethename to get the final image.
The image shows scenes from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" (2009) set in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 4
The starting video is a clip from "Terminator 2," where T-800 shoots a minigun. A helicopter pilot says, "That's a damn minigun!" This points to the Vulcan turret and the Terminator kit.
On the Vulcan Wiki page, the M3 Vulcan’s price is 9 crystals higher than in-game. The garage description links to: https://game.pro-tanki.com/the_best_director. On the Terminator kit’s Wiki page, clicking the preview makes the ProTanki logo rotate slightly. Clicking the logo leads to an image:

Vulcan Price Change
The 9-crystal price difference on the Vulcan page points to Deck-9. On Deck-9 in-game, find: !(.!.!#.!^.!@.%.
Decode it using a keyboard: each symbol matches a number when pressed with Shift. E.g., !( is 19. This gives 19.1.13.16.12.5, which, via A1Z26, becomes S.A.M.P.L.E. This leads nowhere yet.
Recall the logo image:
It shows a car with the plate PR 529680. The region code PR is an old Italian code for Parma, pointing to the Parma map. Note the billboard and "<< 13" in the corner.
On the Parma map, a billboard is tilted 5-10 degrees. On the Parma Wiki page, find: game.pro-tanki.com/(180/pi * R), a formula to convert radians to degrees. The tilted billboard suggests finding the angle in degrees. The << 13 indicates a left bit shift by 13.
Calculate or brute-force the angle as 7 degrees. Shift 7 left by 13 to get 57344, forming: https://game.pro-tanki.com/57344.
This page has a password form. Enter "1492" from the ".../the_best_director" branch to see a video with Moby’s "Porcelain." After ~30 seconds, white flickering signals Morse code.
Decode the Morse to get APLGAQKYGLIZ.
Recall S.A.M.P.L.E — in music, a sample is audio reused in new work. The sample for "Porcelain" is Ernest Gold’s "Fight for Survival," pointing to Gold.

The starting video is Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away” clip.
Go to the Berlin map in-game. Find a pixel-art duck. Ducks aren’t in the game, but pixels point to the Pixel paint.
On the Berlin Wiki page, find inscriptions on the background:

The Pixel paint’s in-game texture has a new inscription: /45_oRq*E*K*l4***o9*.

Download it; the file is fixme.bmp and unreadable. Fix it by setting the first two bytes to 0x42 and 0x4D to reveal:
It shows believe_ and references the Transparent Banana gift. Opening its icon in a new tab reveals a QR code and "This will open the gates."
