About ranks

A player's progress can be evaluated by their current rank. To advance to a higher rank, you must earn a certain number of experience points, which increases as the rank increases. The titles and rank icons in “ProTanki” are based on real military ranks.
There are 30 different ranks in the game, from Recruit to Generalissimo. The final rank is Generalissimo, and it's impossible to progress further in ranks after reaching it. As you gain experience points, you gain access to new maps, new equipment, and overall, it indicates to other players what they might expect when going into combat against you.

Ways to get a new rank

• In DM:
  • Destroying enemy tanks.
• In TDM:
  • Helping allies to destroy enemy tanks.
  • Healing allies using Isida.
• In CTF:
  • Capturing enemy flag.
  • Destroying enemies carrying the flag.
  • Returning your team's flag.
• In CP:
  • Capturing/Neutralizing a point.

• Purchasing the “1000 Experience Points” Pass in the Garage.

The experience points you earn for all of the above activities can be further increased by purchasing “Up Score” Pass, by activating a Premium account or by having the “Newbie Pass”.

Tips to gain experience

If you need to earn a lot of experience points quickly, here are some tips:

• Play in CTF and CP modes on small maps, such as Polygon, Arena, and Island. Due to their small size, you will encounter enemy tanks frequently and gain a lot of experience points by battling them.

• On large maps, you earn experience much more slowly than on small ones. This is because you don’t encounter enemies as often and usually have to play defensively or camp to destroy enemy tanks. So, if your goal is to rank up quickly, try to avoid playing on large maps.

• Isida is a special turret that not only deals damage but also heals your teammates. Thanks to this feature, Isida is a good turret for earning experience.

• Destroying multiple enemy tanks with a single shot (using Shaft, Railgun, Thunder, or Hammer) instantly gives lots of experience points. Additionally, you can also use Freeze or Firebird to shoot several tanks at the same time.
