There are two types of Crystal Boxes in ProTanki: the common variant that drops regularly as the battle fund increases and a unique super-variant called the "Gold Box", which has a much smaller chance of dropping as the battle progresses.

Crystal boxes are a unique type of bonus boxes that can drop at any moment on the map. Picking up such a box grants the player 10 Crysmini.png.

Drop chance: 1% for each drop zone per crystal added to the fund.

Gold Boxes

Goldbox.png

Gold boxes are a special type of crystal box that grants the player 1000 Crysmini.png upon pickup (this amount may change during holidays and special events).

Drop Mechanics

Drop Zone

After receiving the Goldbox notification - Gold box will be dropped soon, one of these unique boxes will fall at a random location in 40 seconds.

In PRO Battles settings, there is an option to enable the gold box drop zone marker. In regular battles, this option is disabled.

In all regular battles, as well as in PRO Battles with the "On random fund" option enabled for gold boxes, the drop chance is 1/7000 per crystal added to the fund, or approximately 0.014%.

If this option is disabled, the gold box will drop at a specific fund threshold:

  • The first gold drops randomly at a fund level between [7000, 7200].
  • All subsequent gold boxes drop within the range [previous gold + 7000 - 100, previous gold + 7000 + 100].

For example, if the first gold drops at 7 150 Crysmini.png, the second may drop between 14 050 Crysmini.png and 14 250 Crysmini.png
