Secret rooms

From ProTanki Online Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Secret rooms are secret rooms that were previously present on some maps. It was believed that such rooms were needed to better study the maps. Such rooms are hard-to-reach places, hidden from public view. Some secret rooms were specially made by the developers or were formed due to Bugs. Secret rooms also appear during the quest «THE GAME».

Secret rooms on different maps

Abyss

To get to the secret room on the Abyss, you need to find a large yellow house in the central part of the map. And then, driving around it, find the descent where the platform with the house is, and there is no ladder leading to it, drive back along the path, turn on acceleration and with acceleration climb onto that platform. After that, you just need to drive around the other side of the house and jump onto a special platform. From the platform there was a direct road to the secret room.

Polygon

The secret room is also present on the Polygon map. To get there, you need to drive along the edge of the map behind the big house at the blue base, near the blue flag, and jump into the tunnel at full speed. It is best to do this on a Wasp or Hornet, and a gun with high recoil. In the room itself, you can see props with images of fairly well-known GTanks players: merenis11, cherep99, Sitnikov, Corey and sheezy.

Stadium

There is a secret room on the Stadium map, which is the hall of fame of the most famous GTanks and ProTanki players. To get there, you need to climb to one of the two edges of the map and carefully jump onto a small ledge, then enter the room through a small tunnel.

Skirmish

4 days after the release of this map, a secret room was added to it. It is located behind the houses, to the left of the blue base. To get into it, you need to jump under the grate on the platform while in flight. "The Secret" is a small room with a tunnel, after driving through which you can see another small room with a rusty "titanium burner".

Secret rooms for the quest "GAME"

New Year's "GAME" 2023

Gubakha

A secret room added to the game on the first day of the New Year's quest "GAMES". It was very easy to get there: the floor was removed in the pit in the center of the map, you could jump there and get into the labyrinth. If you went down to the lower floor and drove along the edges of the wall, you could find walls without collision, driving through which you could see a hint to the answer to day 1 of the quest.

Deathtrack

One of the few large and branched secret rooms. It appeared on the fourth day of the New Year's quest "GAME". The entrance to the room was in the right half of the red base, in the left column, located on the side of the entrance from the blue base to the red one. The secret room itself was a large labyrinth, which had 3 special codes for getting a link and a hint for the final answer. On the way to the hint for solving the quest, there were many difficulties, from dead ends to false pits from which it was impossible to get out.

Summer "GAME" 2023

Novel

One of the smallest secret rooms in the game. To get into it, you had to jump under the bridge in the central part of the map and find 2 wall props located exactly under this bridge. During the quest, the right Novel was transparent and by driving through it, you could get into the room. A special decoder was drawn in the room to decode the code from the Wingdings font into Morse code.

Railway station

An unusual secret room, made in the form of parkour with different paths, and only one of these paths led to the final code of the third day. To get into it, you had to drive into a small nook on the red base and, having driven through a transparent wall, carefully jump into the "secret room".

Winter Quest 2024

Ping-Pong

A secret room, similar in its image to the secret room we knew earlier on the map Polygon. A fairly easy to access room that could be entered with absolutely any weapon, it all depended on how you fell down. The lightest weapon for getting into the secret room is Wasp and Ricochet. The room consists of a large number of exploded tanks and a Prop with the image of the player known from other secret rooms - merenis11.

Industrial zone

To get into the room, you had to look through all the rubble under the rises and drive into the one where the texture was visual. The room is unusual for its information - Morse code, in which the deciphered word "nitro" is written (-. .. -) (.-. ---). Taika does not stand out in any way, an ordinary part of the Industrial Zone map with rises, a broken wall. The room helped players interact with the previously found form in order to move forward in the quest.

Abyss

In this secret room, the end walls depict numbers: 0 and 1, and the floor is laid out with dark and light "tiles" - everything suggested that this is a binary message (01110110 01100001 01110010 01100001 01101110). From which the ASCII symbol comes out, we get the word "varan". You can get into the secret room on any hulls, including the mammoth

Duel

Duel - a map for 2 people, this is the composition you had to get into this secret room through the fences on the edge of the map. The room includes 4 multi-colored squares located on each side of the room. Exploring this secret room, we notice that if you look through these cubes at other cubes, they change color.

Canyon

Quite an unusual secret room, which depicts 4 pictures with numbers (1,2,3,4) of different toys and characters from games/cartoons. However, not all pictures are visible inside the secret room. Picture number 4 can only be seen from the outside, by riding along the edge of the map. It is quite easy to get into the secret room, for this you just need to drive into the visual texture (empty) and jump into the secret. If you go back a couple of steps in the quest and match the colors one by one using the secret on the Duel map, you can collect a sequence of numbers, corresponding to the colors of the "toys" from the Canyon secret room: you get a sequence of numbers 0231420314, which leads closer to the answer in the quest.

Noise

The secret room is nothing special, a regular tunnel, but... The contents of this secret room are an image of a regular magnifying glass and a mine. Therefore, this is a reference to the Find the mine event, for the quest, by following the find the mine article, highlighting all the text, in the lower corner of the page we notice the coordinates: 58.837795, 57.186750. This text helped players follow the coordinates and find the village of Parma for further quest completion.

Chernobyl

A very small secret room that was quite problematic to get into, there was a small space for riding near the abyss and the process of getting into the room itself. In this secret room we see 5 numbers that can be viewed in the English alphabet: 09 - I; 18 - R; 02 - B; 09 - I; 19 - S. Replacing the numbers with the corresponding letters, we get "irbis" - "Irbis". This is the password. By entering which in a certain form, you could advance in the quest "GAME".

Summer Quest 2025

Chernobyl

On the first day of “THE GAME 2025,” two secret rooms were introduced on Chernobyl map, both accessible only by passing through invisible walls. Access to them was relatively straightforward. To reach the secret rooms on Chernobyl map, these were the steps:

The first room was located on the right side of the red team’s base, near a ramp that led to the red flag. Participants had to drive along the left side of that ramp to find it. Note that only Wasp or Hornet was small enough to pass through the gap. Once inside, participants encountered a white wall covered with secret codes and symbols.

The second secret room on Chernobyl map had the same access style (through an invisible wall) as the first, but this one could only be reached using Parkour Skills.

On the left side of the red team’s base, there was another invisible wall. After passing through it, the participants stayed on an invisible path. From there, participants only needed to keep moving forward until they found the secret room with the image of the red gift.

Wave

On the second day, another secret room was added, but this time on Wave map, which required Parkour Skills to get access to.

On Wave map, the first step was to reach the highest point on one of the hills near the red team’s base, an area covered with taller grass. Heading in that direction with a light Hull, preferably Wasp, they had to jump straight from the edge of the map to the secret room, which was located underneath the map.

Parkour skills were necessary, since participants had to keep shooting to balance the hull, as access was not possible with just a simple jump.

Highways

On the third day, yet another secret room was added, this time on Highways map. This one was quite simple to access and did not require much effort — just a bit of precision while driving the tank.

To get access, participants had to drive to the blue team's base, find a long wall broken in the middle, and drive straight ahead. After crossing the borders of the map, they ended up on an invisible path. At that point, they found the secret numbers hanging in the sky.

Opposition

The secret room on Opposition map — one thing was clear: it was not really that secret. It was basically a set of platforms hanging in the sky, easily reachable with a bit of Parkour Skills.

These platforms were visible right when entering the map. At the end of the platforms, there was a dead tank. Together, the platforms at different heights formed a secret code.

Berlin

On the last day, one more secret room was found, this time on Berlin map. This one, however, was just a prank set up by the game developers. Parkour skills were also needed here.

Participants had to drive to the edge of the map shown in the first and second images and pass through an invisible wall. After passing through, they stayed on an invisible path and had to continue along it, carefully descending their hull to the lower part of the map, level by level. Once they reached the bottom and kept moving cautiously along the invisible path, they arrived at a long corridor.

In this entered corridor, they kept exploring the maze, which was full of long paths and even more invisible walls. At the end of the maze, they found the famous “trollface.” In truth, this secret room was nothing more than a prank by the game developers, made simply to trick players and waste their time.

Secret Rooms on Holiday Maps

Island REMASTER

“Taika,” styled after the well-known game Minecraft, was also the name of this holiday map. One of the most inaccessible rooms in the game could only be reached through a small hole in a house located at a very high altitude. The room itself was the interior of a standard village house with a basement.

To reach the secret room on Island REMASTER map, players had to follow these steps:

1. Enter a small hole in the large house, at a high altitude. The help of other players was necessary, so players had to get some friendly help.

2. After getting inside the house, they saw the interior of a normal village house with a staircase leading down to a mining cave. Going down the stairs, they found the face of Yesutin — one of the first TO developers, together with a sign inscribed “AREOT.” That was it — they had reached the secret room. Well done!

Spring Falls

The secret room was hidden on one of the hills of the blue base. It was a place where players hid from curious eyes and relaxed after a tough day. There were 8 golden eggs hidden throughout the map in total, and they were quite difficult to find. Some were easily seen from the center of the map, some were observable only in Parkour Mode, and others were usually hidden within the map textures, which made them invisible to ordinary players.

This secret room held the special eighth Easter Egg.

de_dust2

To access the secret room, you had to go to the right side of the blue base at bombsite B. In the far corner of the maps, the path was blocked by boxes, which you could jump over to enter the room. The room itself was a small space where you could see a lambda symbol on the wall and jars of pickles on the floor.

Highland II Legacy

The secret room on the 2009-returned highland II map is a small space where you can see a bush and bricks with the word "STOP" written on them. To enter it, you had to drive behind the large gray house, the only one on the entire map, carefully descend one level lower, and drive into the room.

Laboratory 904

The secret room on this map is a small room where you can see the map creator's nickname on the wall, along with some popular and controversial questions. To enter it, you need to jump onto the roof of one of the two buildings, each featuring five portholes. Among them, the far-right porthole has no collision. After reaching this porthole, you must carefully drop into the room through a vertical tunnel.

Spring Falls 2

To enter the room on spring falls 2, you had to jump onto the rock located to the right of the blue team's base. Then, you needed to jump onto a small hill, at the top of which was a prop with non-collidable ground. After reaching the hill, you had to carefully drop into the secret room. Inside the room, you could see several flowers and one of eight easter eggs.
