Main article: Quest "GAME"

The New Year's quest is the first quest in the game. All 5 days were quite simple; each of them was solved by players in about an hour.

Day 1

The first day begins with an image featuring the VALVe studio logo and the number 2000. The number 2000 refers to the release year of the game Ricochet, which hints at the Ricochet turret. In the Ricochet description on the wiki, a phrase "near Gubakha" was added, referring to the map of the same name. In the center of this map, a secret room was added, representing a fairly large labyrinth with many dead ends. In each dead end, there was a prop featuring the famous trollface image. In one of the tunnels, players could find a room hidden behind a prop without collision. Inside this room, a code was written on the wall: 14-9-20-18-15, which, when decrypted, revealed the answer to the first day's quest — nitro.

Day 2

The second day starts with an image of the English flag and the number 889000 surrounded by the English letter H. The number itself represents the amount of experience required for the General rank, while the letter refers to the first letter of the name of English general Aylmer Hunter-Weston. After some thinking, players needed to recall the Hunter hull, whose description contained a link to an image with Google Maps coordinates. These coordinates pointed to the Ustyurt Plateau. By exploring the Plateau map in the game, players found the inscription Caesar3 and the number 9018 on a rusty boiler inside a house at the blue team's base. These inscriptions corresponded to the nickname and tag of a participant on the game's Discord server, who posted an encrypted code dpef sbjmhvo using the Caesar cipher. Deciphering it gave the final code of the day — railgun.

Day 3

The third day begins with an image showing the Temple map and the link-shortening service clck.ru. The next step required players to enter the Temple map, where a QR code was found on a house in one of the corners. Scanning this QR code provided a clue in the form of the phrase "Peita hainamana," which translates from Maori as "Chinese painting." Next, players needed to find the Clay paint, whose description contained a clickable dot leading to the wiki page of composer Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka. The clue at this step was the composer's place of death—Berlin. On the Berlin map, symbols were drawn on a fence near a red house, which needed to be inserted into the link provided in the initial hint. The resulting link led to the wiki profile page of the player Edge, where an image contained an encrypted answer in binary code. Deciphering this code gave the final answer for the third day — emerald.

Day 4

Day 4 begins with a text hint: "One of the main characters from Mortal Kombat has infiltrated our game and wants to take control of it...". Based on this hint, players needed to review all Mortal Kombat characters and find Raiden. In ProTanki, there is a Raiden kit, which needed to be found on the game’s wiki. On the wiki page of this kit, the kit previews were replaced with previews from a developer livestream, along with a price indicating a timestamp. By watching the stream and skipping to this timestamp, players saw MoscowCity entering the Fort Knox map, meaning the next clue was on this map. While inspecting the map, a black pirate mark was found in one of the holes, referencing the Roger paint. In the garage, the description of this paint contained a clickable dot leading to the ProTanki group album on VKontakte, where a caption under one of the images was encrypted using Morse code. Deciphering this revealed the final answer for the fourth day — mine.
