1. General regulations.
    1.1 Tournament.
        - The tournament is a competition designed to determine the strongest ProTanki teams on a purely sports principle.
    1.2 Tournament management.
        - The tournament is managed by the organizing committee, consisting of judges and eSports administrators.
    1.3 Official language of the tournament.
        - The official languages of the tournament are Russian and English.
        - All teams and players are required to use these official languages for communication with tournament participants and organizers.
        - The organizing committee will facilitate communication between teams that use different languages.
    1.4 Regulation of the tournament.
        - The organization and conduct of the tournament shall abide by these regulations, which establish a uniform procedure for competitions.
        - The definitions and terms used in these regulations have the same meaning as defined in these regulations, the User License Agreement, the Game Rules, the Privacy and Cookies Policy, and the common practice of eSport events.
        - By utilizing the Game, completing the registration process, and clicking the "Confirm" button, or by submitting an application to participate in a competition, the User (player) acknowledges they have read, understood, accepted, and are fully bound by the terms of these regulations.
        - These rules are binding for all Users ( players ) and teams.
        - If a User ( or a team of Users ) does not agree with these regulations, they are not eligible to participate in the event.
        - The outcome of battles, in accordance with these regulations, solely depends on the skills and abilities of the players within the game.

2. Tournament teams.
    2.1 Tournament participants.
        - A limited number of teams/players who have successfully completed the admission process according to these regulations, will participate in the tournament. The maximum number of teams/players is specified in the announcement of the tournament.
        - The rank limit is from Major to Generalissimo, unless specified differently in the tournament rules.
        - During one tournament, a player can only represent one team and use one account.
        - During official games, all team participants must be in voice channels on the official Discord server. Failure to do so will result in a penalty. The game administration and tournament organizers reserve the right to monitor the teams' voice channels.
        - Team captains are required to be in the general-teamleaders chat room throughout the entire tournament. All communication and preparations for upcoming matches should take place on Discord.
    2.2 Team Name Requirements:
        - The maximum number of characters allowed in the name is 20.
        - The name must not be offensive, contain obscene language, political subtext/provocation, or duplicate the name of previously registered teams.
        - Team names must only use Latin letters.
        - The captain must change the team name upon request from the tournament organizer.
    2.3 Admission to the Tournament.
        - Teams are admitted to the tournament based on their confirmed application ( the rules for submitting applications will be published in the specific tournament rules ).
        - The Organizing Committee reserves the right to deny a team's admission to the tournament for reasons stated in these rules.

3. Time and order of organising matches, creating a map.
    3.1 Creation of the map and start of the match.
        - The tournament participants are assigned the roles of "Host" and "Guest". The roles are designated by the tournament organizers in the fight schedule. The "Host" is the player who is above or to the left in the tournament bracket, the "Guest" is the player below or to the right.
        - The map is created by the player/team with the status of "Host". The host begins the match playing as the blues.
        - The link to the fight is sent by the "Master" to the tournament organizers and the opponent through official communication channels ( Discord ) or using the buddy system.
        - Participants of the battle enter the map at the designated time, and have 2 minutes for preparation ( from 12:00 to 10:00 round time ).
        - Each team/player may request a re-entry before the first round of the battle ( before 11:00 battle time ), and the opponent must proceed to the next round. A new map is not the start of the next battle. Re-entry means exiting the battle and subsequently entering it again to reset the round time.
        - At 10:18 round time, all players must press the "self-destruct" button and the game will begin. From the moment of self-destruct ( 10:18 round time ) until the start of the battle ( 10:00 round time ), all battle participants must be on the map and are not allowed to leave or update the battle during this period.
    3.2 Technical pause.
        - The duration of the pause is 5 minutes;
        - A technical break cannot be requested before the first round;
        - There can only be one technical pause before a round
        - A technical pause may be requested no later than 11 minutes of battle time.
        - Each team has the right to request one technical break per match.
        *The technical break lasts for 5 minutes. Procrastination is not allowed. Teams must restart after the 5 minutes have passed.

4. Actions of the players during the match.
    4.1 Actions of the players during the match.
        - Before the start of the game time (10:00 round time), it is forbidden to perform any actions aimed at capturing flags, destroying opponents, or fully seizing a point.
        - Withdrawing from combat to change weapons is also prohibited. If the player needs to refresh due to lag, etc., they must return to the map with the same weaponry. Unless specified in the rules of the current tournament, no more than three upgrades/reinstatements are allowed per game time of the round for one player, with replacement counted as an upgrade.
        - Players must not hold the flag in out-of-game zones such as the map edge, textures, or pits. If a player finds themselves in a pit, they must immediately reset the flag.
        - If the opponent's lag affects the game, the player should contact them in the battle chat and request a refresh or replacement in team battles. However, the opponent has the right to refuse the update or replacement if the request is not valid.
        - The referee has the right to ask a team to replace a lagging player, who must leave the round. The player has the right to leave after completing the game episode but no later than 15 seconds after the referee's request. The team may replace the player or continue the round with an uneven lineup.
        - The referee also has the right to remove a player from the battle who has been ordered to leave but does not do so within 60 seconds of the request.
        - If a player is unable to continue the battle due to a power outage or internet problem, the game continues with an uneven lineup, and the result of such a battle will be counted. If a round has already started, it should be played to the end with all lineups, and all flags delivered before the end of the round will be counted.
        - Self-destructing without a valid reason, such as being upside down or critically stuck in textures, is forbidden.
        - In XP/BP, Light, Medium formats self-destructs are not allowed without justifiable reasons, such as being upside down on the tracks or critically getting stuck in textures. In Hard CTF and Hard CP self-destructs are allowed.
        - In XP/BP, the use of self-destructs in Light and Medium formats is not allowed unless there are justifiable reasons, such as being upside down on the tracks or getting critically stuck in textures. However, self-destructs are allowed in Hard CTF and Hard CP.
    4.2 If a player does not have their checker on before the start of the match after 12:00, they must either turn it on or leave the map upon request by the referees.
        - Not turning on the checker is ONLY allowed in the case of very serious problems for the player, provided that the judges have been notified in advance with proof.
    4.3 In the Hard CTF and Hard CP formats, changing equipment is permitted but only once per round. Re-entry into the game after changing equipment is not allowed.
        - Each player is entitled to change one piece of equipment (one turret, one hull, and one paint) from the start of the round's game time (which is counted from 10:00). Note that self-destruction at 10:18-10:20 is MANDATORY.
        - If a player experiences critical issues or other problems with the game, they should restart the client/game instead of rejoining, which has no impact on the equipment change cooldown. However, changing equipment after re-entering the map is not allowed if it has already been done prior to re-entering.
        - If a new player replaces another player during a round, the new player has the right to change equipment once before the end of the round only if the previous player did not change equipment. If the previous player had changed equipment, the new player is not entitled to change.
        - Player is also forbidden to change his gear before the end of the round!
    Using clickers, scripts, or macros to gain advantages over other players is prohibited (e.g. rapidly firing at the entire bunker with one button, placing multiple mines at once, etc.).
    4.4 When replacing a player in the Medium, Hard CTF, and Hard CP formats, the replacing player must use the same equipment as the player they are replacing (Turret, Hull, Paint).


5. Matches results
    5.1 Reporting the Final Match Score.
        - After each round, the competitors must take a screenshot of the screen displaying the final table and the score of the round. The representative of the winning team or, in the case of a draw, the competitor with the "Host" status, must report the scores of each round in the #inf-match-results channel and confirm them with the screenshots.
        - The results of the matches must be posted within 10 minutes of the end of the fight.
        - If an opponent does not agree with the result, they should file a complaint with the tournament organizers on the Discord server or in person within one hour after the end of the match, as outlined in the "Protest Submission and Communication with Tournament Organizers" section.
    5.2 Communication during ProTanki tournaments must be conducted only through Discord. Screenshots from other communication methods will not be accepted.
    5.3 The results of matches must be confirmed by the captains of both teams, both winners and losers. If a team has lost and dropped out of the tournament, it is not an acceptable reason for delaying the reporting of results and scheduling of subsequent matches.


6. Technical defeat.
    6.1 In case of non-appearance of one of the participants at the match, as well as in other cases stipulated by these rules and the tournament rules, a technical defeat (TP) may be awarded.
        - If the opponent did not appear for the match, a screenshot must be taken of the created match showing that there is no opponent and the channel of communication used to contact the opponent. The screenshot should display the time and be posted on the #inf-match-results channel.
        - A player/team that is not ready to start the game 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will also receive a technical defeat.
    6.2 The technical defeat score will be 0:4 per round. A technical defeat in a single round will be scored 0:3.
    6.3 If both contestants fail to appear for the match, a 0-0 technical draw will be awarded and no points will be given for the match.
    6.4 If a contestant withdraws from the tournament for any reason, they will receive a technical defeat (0:3) in all remaining matches.
    6.5 If a contestant violates the rules during a match by playing with an incorrect setup, a screenshot should be taken and a complaint can be submitted after the match. The opponent should also be informed through the chat room so that they can correct their setup for future rounds.


7. Refereeing and communication with the tournament organisers.
    7.1 Each individual match is organized and officiated by the match referee. The referee makes decisions in accordance with the provisions of these regulations and informs the teams.
    7.2 In non-standard situations, or those not described in the current version of the rules, the referee has the discretion to resolve the situation.
    7.3 The name and contacts of the match referee can be found on the official cybersport server.
    7.4 Communication regarding the organization of matches and controversial situations is led exclusively by the captain or deputy on the team side.
    7.5 The project administration and eSports direction have exclusive rights, including the right to act outside of the rules described above.
    7.6 The rules may be changed by the decision of the judging panel without prior notification to users.
    7.7 As it is not always possible to accurately determine rule violations, the final decision always rests with the Organizing Committee and the referee.


Requests, complaints, and suggestions regarding the tournament organization can be sent in private messages to the curator or eSports administrator.

8. Filing a complaint and communicating with the tournament organiser.
    8.1 If one of the contestants disagrees with the outcome of the match, they have the right to file a protest.
    8.2 To file a protest, it is necessary to contact the tournament organizers through Discord or in person.
    8.3 When filing a protest, the relevant information and evidence must be submitted through official channels within 60 minutes of the end of the match.
    8.4 Decisions regarding disputes are made by the tournament organizers and they must inform of their decision through Discord or other resources. The decision made by the tournament organizers is final and cannot be appealed.
    8.5 Requirements for protest evidence:
        - Evidence (screenshots and videos) must demonstrate that they depict the match in question.
        - The material must show the reason for the protest (the opponent's violation). First-person videos take precedence for complaints regarding lag or other violations, and the video must show FPS and PING. Broadcast videos may be considered supplementary evidence.
        - Complaints about opponent's lag may be rejected if Clause 4.1.4 was not followed during the match.
        - Videos must be posted on YouTube and the tournament organizers must be provided with a link to view it with timestamps for all violations.
        - The video quality must be sufficient for the violation and the opponent's nickname to be clearly visible.
        - Screenshots of the violations must be complete (showing the entire game space on the map, including the time, round/battle logs, and game chat).
        - Screenshots confirming the number of players in a clan must be taken by the player in the battle, with the TAB button pressed.
        - Edited or incomplete screenshots will not be accepted.


9. Broadcasts.
    9.1 All matches are broadcast live with official commentators and are streamed on the official YouTube channel.
    9.2 To prevent foul play, video broadcasts of matches have a delay of 30 seconds.
    9.3 The use of foul language and negative comments towards opponents and organizers during voice chats is strictly prohibited.
    9.4 Teams are allowed to have a player for live broadcasting and a player for recording on their own information resources (e.g. Discord).
    9.5 Teams must be present in the official Discord channel during the match, where they are provided with voice conference rooms. The nicknames of players on the Discord server must be identical to their in-game names.
    9.6 Teams must provide the operators with the link or invitation to the match no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
    9.7 Teams must be on the map and at full strength 3 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
    9.8 During the conference of the playing team, the microphone may only be turned on by players participating in the match. An exception is made for a seventh player, who may be a coordinator or substitute player.
    9.9 The broadcasting team has the right to request a round restart if it is necessary for the broadcast.


10. Player and Team Obligations.
    10.1 Players are required to follow the rules of the ProTanki game.
    10.2 Players and teams are required to adhere to the provisions of these regulations.
    10.3. Participants in the tournament must avoid actions that could harm the image of the tournament, the image of the tournament players and teams, the image of the referees, and other entities involved in conducting the tournament.
    10.4 Each player is personally responsible for their behavior in battles, chats, on the official server, etc. If there is a severe violation of communication and ethics rules, the player may be disqualified from the tournament.


11. Disciplinary Penalties and Fines.
    11.1 Disciplinary penalties are imposed for violations of the provisions of these regulations.
    11.2 The referee shall impose disciplinary penalties and inform the team captain through official means of communication.
    11.3 Disciplinary penalties imposed are final and cannot be appealed.
