Introduction

In ProTanki, battles are campaigns in which all players take part in to gather the resources needed in order to increase their progress within the game and advance further with upgraded gear through maintaining experience points that are acquired by battling other tanks to death in all kinds of battle modes.
There exists a variety of arenas called Maps in which the battles take place in.

Creation

Overview

The battle list as part of the game interface.

Every tanker has the ability to create their own battle or choose to enter an already existent one through the battle list in the game's interface.
To create your own battle, you can click on Create button.png on the bottom right of the battle list.

It should be noted that there is a cooldown when creating battles, as players are allowed to create a maximum of three battles within five minutes.
If a player tries to create more than three Maps within five minutes, they will be confronted with the cooldown message.
In addition, the player is allowed to create a new map if one of the three previously created battles has disappeared.

In order to create their own battle, players must provide a valid battle name and choose a Battle Mode.
Additionally, they must select a map from among the available options for their rank bracket.
All battles are set to the summer theme by default, with the exception of Moon Silence, which is the only battle that exists in the space mode.

Players who have been banned from the chat are not allowed to create their own battles for the duration of their chat-ban, but they are still allowed to enter battles created by others.

Settings

Every battle creation menu has a selection of settings that can be modified to the player's desire, but only players with the PRO Battle Pass have access to modifying their battle settings.
Battles created by players who do not possess the pass will have default settings enabled.
Battle creation by default assigns you the maximum number of players allowed in the map you've chosen, a time limit of 15 minutes and no «Destroy limit» (for DM & TDM), «Flag limit» (for CTF) and «Score» (for CP).
Players, regardless of their possession of the PRO Battle Pass, can modify these three options to their liking.

Once the PRO Battle settings have been enabled, the player has access to a variety of settings they can choose to modify from.
The battle settings functions are expressed as following:

Setting Enabled Disabled
Rearm.png Rearm Allows all players in the battle to change their equipment from the garage while in the battle. Players won't be allowed to change their equipment.
Bonus boxes.png Bonus boxes Allows for supplies to be dropped across the map. Supplies won't be dropped.
Crystal boxes.png Crystal boxes Allows for crystal boxes (10 crystals box & Gold boxes) to be dropped across the map Crystal boxes and Gold boxes won't be dropped.
Supplies enabled.png Supplies Players will be able to use all supplies within the battle. Players won't be able to use any supplies at all.
Private battle.png Private battle Your battle will not be visible on the battles list and are only accessible through a friend invitation or battle links. Your battle will remain visible on the battles list.
Autobalance.png Autobalance Teams will be automatically balanced as each player can only choose to join a team that has less players than the other team. Players can join any team regardless of the amount of players in each team (unless the team is full).
Friendly fire.png Friendly fire Players can inflict damage upon their teammates as equally as they would to an enemy. Players can not damage their teammates at all.

Map selection

The selection of maps.

Every battle must have a map selected from the pool of available maps for all players.
The availability of Maps depends on the player's rank and whether the map is a special map for ongoing holidays or a map that is no longer in the current map pool.

Players also have the option to choose a theme for the map they have selected.
While all maps are on the Summer theme by default, some maps have a Winter theme, while others have a Night theme.
Moon Silence is the only map with a fixed theme, specifically the Space mode.

Ranks

Every battle must have a specific Rank bracket that allows players within that bracket to join the battle.
By default, battles created by players are set to the maximum rank that they are allowed to play with.

Battle ranks.png

Players can choose to restrict or expand the Rank bracket for each map, as low as choosing only their own rank or as high as expanding it by up to 10 ranks.
When selecting the rank bracket, players are not allowed to make the maximum rank lower than their own rank.
For example, if a player is a First Lieutenant, they cannot set the maximum rank for their battle to be lower than First Lieutenant.

Modes

Every battle created must have one of four Game Modes that determine the nature of the battle and how it is played.

DM icon.png Deathmatch (DM)

In this mode, players are on their own and compete individually.
The objective is to have the most total kills out of all other players and reach the kill count determined by the battle settings, or to have the most total kills before the timer of the battle runs out.

TDM icon.png Team Deathmatch (TDM)

In this mode, there are two teams, team red and team blue.
The objective is for each team to gather the most total kills against the other team until the kill count determined by the battle settings is met, or to have the most total team kills before the timer of the battle runs out.

CTF icon.png Capture The Flag (CTF)

In this mode, there are two teams: team red and team blue. Each team is assigned to their designated base and each team has a flag in their base.
The objective is to take the enemy team's flag by driving through it and returning to your team's base to deliver the flag.
Each captured flag counts as a point for the team that captured it.
The objective is fulfilled when either team has successfully captured the number of flags determined by the battle's flag objective or when the timer runs out.

CP icon.png Control Points (CP)

In this mode, there are two teams: team red and team blue.
There are a series of glowing orbs (or a singular orb) scattered across the map that, when captured, give the assigned team a point every 10 seconds.
The objective of the mode is to capture the orbs and accumulate enough battle points to meet the requirement set by the battle settings or when the timer of the battle runs out.
To capture an orb, the player has to get near the orb and stay within its radius for approximately six seconds.
The time required to capture the point decreases when more teammates are assisting the player to capture the point.
The score for capturing a point is distributed among all players who have successfully captured the point, based on the number of enemies on the opposing team.

Battle Links

Here you can see the link to a battle.

Battle links play an important role when you want to share a match with other players outside your Friends List.
This is especially relevant for private battles, which can only be accessed by following a battle link or being invited by a friend.

To get the link to a battle, you can either simply click on file= or copy it directly from the corresponding input field.

After you have received the link, you are free to share it in the Game Chat, on Discord or other platforms.
Let's go into battle!
