Accumulating the Battle fund
Actions that Increase the Fund
The battle fund accumulates when players perform active actions in battle:

Scenarios for Fund accumulation
* Destroying enemies
Battle fund accumulates when players perform the following active actions in battle:
* Capturing the flag
* Destroying opponents
* Capturing a point
* Delivering flags
* Capturing or neutralizing a point

Note: Returning flags and healing teammates with Isida CANNOT generate Battle Fund.

Attention! Healing allies with Isida, returning flags in CTF, and neutralizing points in CP do not add crystals to the fund.

Growth rate of Battle fund
Factors Influencing Fund Growth
Main Factors
Rank
* Ranks: the higher the player's rank, more crystals are added into the fund for their destruction and flag delivery.
Ranks
* Map size: the larger the map (the more players it can accommodate), the more crystals are added to the fund for each action.

The number of crystals added to the fund depends on the players' ranks in the battle.
Equipment
As players' ranks increase, the Battle Fund accumulated also increases.

The following table shows the amount of Base fund for each rank in Deathmatch:
* Hulls: destroying players using light hulls (Wasp, Hornet) grants about 30% fewer crystals than destroying players with medium and heavy hulls (both medium and heavy hulls contribute the same amount of crystals). Hull modification does not matter. Thus, destroying a Hunter M0 and a Mammoth M3 will give the same amount of crystals (assuming both players have the same rank).

* Turrets: the number of Firebird turrets in a battle significantly affects fund growth. If there are too many, the fund will grow very slowly. This makes the "FB" format unprofitable.
{| class="wikitable" style="margin-left: 50px; text-align: center;"
** In a closed battle on the Madness map, a large number of Railgun and Shaft turrets will result in the same effect.

Battle Settings
* Crystal boxes: in PRO Battles, you can disable the drop of both crystal and gold boxes. If both are disabled, the fund grows 60% faster; if only one is disabled — by 30%.
* In the Parkour format, the fund does not accumulate.
* Battle mode: it also affects the speed of fund growth:
** DM: +10%
** TDM: +20%
** CTF: -10%
** CP: 0%

Attention! The current gold box drop rate does not affect fund growth. Even if the drop rate is x5, with crystal drops disabled, the fund will still only grow by 30%.

Summary Table
This table shows the relationship between map size, hull type, player rank, and the number of crystals added to the fund for destroying a player (only the smallest and largest maps are selected to save space). Values are for the DM mode. Fund amounts shown in battle statistics are rounded to whole numbers.

Previously, destroying heavy hulls such as Titan and Mammoth added more to the Battle fund,
but this feature has been removed from the game.

It is important to note that the modification level of the Hull is not factored into the calculation.
Therefore, destroying a tank with Hunter M0 adds roughly the same amount to the Battle fund as destroying a Mammoth M3 (provided that the two tanks are at the same rank).

Battle Settings
Battles, Battle modes

The following modes affect the rate of accumulation of Battle fund:

* DM: +10%
* TDM: +20%
* CTF: -10%
* CP: 0%

For game modes involving team play, it is possible to get a 50% increase in fund gain when multiple teammates destroy an enemy tank.

Battles with the Parkour format do not accumulate any fund.

If the Crystal boxes setting is disabled, there is a 50% increase in Battle fund.
However, in certain situations, it might be better to enable the setting, as the total value of Crystals obtained through Gold and Crystal boxes may be large enough to compensate for the lower Battle Fund.
For more information, you can read the following guide: Should I Disable Crystal Boxes?

There are certain restrictions on the selection of turrets in battles.
When these restrictions are met, fund gains will be heavily penalized.

* If the ratio of players equipped with Firebird across a battle is sufficiently high.
** This is to prevent players from farming large amounts of Experience and Crystals with Wasp Fire or Hornet Fire.
* If the ratio of players equipped with Railgun or Shaft in a Private Madness battle is sufficiently high.
** This is to prevent players from farming large amounts of Crystals using long-range guns.
** However, it is possible to circumvent this restriction by using turrets such as Smoky or Thunder.

The easiest and most common way to earn crystals in ProTanki is to complete battles. When players perform actions during the battle, the Battle fund statistic increases. At the end of the battle, the fund is distributed among all remaining players according to specific rules.

The Battle fund statistic is located in the bottom right corner of the Battle HUD as shown below: Battle fund.png

Actions that Increase the Fund

Logo small.png Did you know that...

The record of the fund was set during the battle from April 6 to 7, 2025, on the Siege TDM with the title «ЛЕГЕНДЫ ProTanks Делают» during the May Day holiday celebration.

It was 2 435 119 Crysmini.png! (Screenshot)

The previous record was 2 368 570 Crysmini.png, it was set on April 6th, 2025 during the April Fool's celebrations.

The battle fund accumulates when players perform active actions in battle:

  • Destroying enemies
  • Capturing the flag
  • Capturing a point

Attention! Healing allies with Isida, returning flags in CTF, and neutralizing points in CP do not add crystals to the fund.

Factors Influencing Fund Growth

Main Factors

  • Ranks: the higher the player's rank, more crystals are added into the fund for their destruction and flag delivery.
  • Map size: the larger the map (the more players it can accommodate), the more crystals are added to the fund for each action.

Equipment

  • Hulls: destroying players using light hulls (Wasp, Hornet) grants about 30% fewer crystals than destroying players with medium and heavy hulls (both medium and heavy hulls contribute the same amount of crystals). Hull modification does not matter. Thus, destroying a Hunter M0 and a Mammoth M3 will give the same amount of crystals (assuming both players have the same rank).
  • Turrets: the number of Firebird turrets in a battle significantly affects fund growth. If there are too many, the fund will grow very slowly. This makes the "FB" format unprofitable.
    • In a closed battle on the Madness map, a large number of Railgun and Shaft turrets will result in the same effect.

Battle Settings

  • Crystal boxes: in PRO Battles, you can disable the drop of both crystal and gold boxes. If both are disabled, the fund grows 60% faster; if only one is disabled — by 30%.
  • In the Parkour format, the fund does not accumulate.
  • Battle mode: it also affects the speed of fund growth:
    • DM: +10%
    • TDM: +20%
    • CTF: -10%
    • CP: 0%

Action Fund Growth
Flag delivery When delivering a flag, the fund increases by the same amount of crystals that would have been added by destroying all players of the opposing team.
Point capture Capturing a point adds the same number of crystals as delivering a flag, but half as much.

Festivities

During special festivities and promotions, the fund growth rate may increase by a multiple of the normal rate.

Distribution of Battle Fund

When the battle ends, the accumulated fund is distributed to all remaining players in the battle. In Deathmatches, crystals are distributed based on a hidden score, which can be approximated by the number of enemies destroyed. However, this approximation becomes unreliable if the player destroys multiple light hulls or self-destructs many times.

In team modes, the winning team receives the largest portion of the fund. The amount is determined by its lead over the losing team and can range from 60% to 80%. The remaining portion of the fund is given to the losing team.

Within each team, the fund is distributed proportionally based on the players' battle scores. A player from the losing team can receive more crystals than the first player in the winning team, provided they account for the majority of the score on their team.

Note: A player cannot receive any crystals from the fund without a score. If they are the only player on their team, all crystals allocated to their team will go to waste.
If the battle ends with all players on the same team, the empty opposing team will not receive any crystals.
